# One claim, three places: keep your landing-page evidence current

A free Solo Builder Power-Ups worksheet for founders and independent designers.

When you edit a product claim, its old version may still appear on your homepage, pricing page, and launch article. Keep the evidence once and list every place where you use it. Start with one claim you already publish.

## 1. Write an evidence card

- Evidence ID:
- Claim you can support:
- Original source or local file:
- Date checked:
- What you observed directly:
- What you have not measured:
- Permission or attribution notes, if relevant:
- Next review date or trigger:

Choose a precise observation. “A checkout test delivered the download” is different from “Customers love the product.” A test is not a customer purchase.

## 2. List every place that uses the claim

|Evidence ID|Page or file|Section|Exact claim used|Last checked|Update needed?|
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | | | | |
| | | | | | |
| | | | | | |

Use one row per placement. Keep source material in your own storage; a pointer is often enough. Do not include private customer information in a public copy of this worksheet.

## 3. Make one correction all the way through

1. Change the evidence card first.
2. Find every placement with the same evidence ID.
3. Review the published wording at each location.
4. Update the wording where needed and record the date.
5. Leave unchecked locations marked as needing review.

## Worked example — entirely fictional

Evidence E-01 originally supported “Includes 12 recipes.” A later release contains 15. The product homepage, checkout description, and launch article still use the old count. Update the evidence card after checking the downloadable package, then review those three placements. This is a content-maintenance example; it makes no claim about anyone's sales or conversion rate.

## Find out whether this is worth repeating

- Number of placements checked:
- Minutes to find them:
- Minutes to make the updates:
- Any placement missed on the first pass:
- Date of your next real update:
- Did a plain table already solve the job?

If updates are rare, keep using the table. A dedicated tool would need to save enough recurring work to justify an extra purchase. A possible future tool at $7/month is a research idea, not an available product or subscription offer.
