SaaS Landing Page FAQ Examples: Answer the Buying Question
Write purchase FAQs that answer fit, delivery and billing questions. Includes an honest Free/Pro example and a free AI drafting prompt.
The FAQ is not a second sales pitch
A useful FAQ answers the question in its first sentence. It should make a decision easier even if the answer means the product is not a fit. Avoid adding seven questions simply because your template contains seven accordion rows.
Example: SaaSFrame addresses buying mechanics
SaaSFrame's pricing page includes questions about payment processing and future updates. Those are useful categories because buyers need to know how access and the ongoing offer work. Use the questions as a reference for your own facts, not the company's policies as defaults. Source checked September 15, 2026: Source ↗
Example: understand the actual delivery platform
Gumroad's receipt help explains access to purchased content and membership management. If you sell through Gumroad, verify the actual receipt and access flow in a test purchase before promising a specific experience. The customer should not need to guess where the library lives. Five questions to resolve
Who is this for? What exactly is included? How do I access it? What renews and how can I cancel? What is not included? These are starting prompts, not a requirement to publish answers you have not verified. Put the recurring price beside the purchase button as well as in the FAQ.
An original Free/Pro example
Are the free recipes also included in Pro? Yes. Pro starts with 12 total recipes: the three free ones and nine additional sections. Do I need Notion? No. The downloadable library opens in a browser; Notion is an optional free sample. Will this guarantee more sales? No. It provides structure and copy decisions to test with your audience.
Where material details belong
Do not hide renewal, a setup fee, a usage limit, or an unavailable feature in a closed accordion. Put a material condition where the buyer makes the decision. The FAQ can explain it in more detail. This is an editorial clarity principle, not a statement that a particular layout has been proven to convert better.
Make the question list improve over time
For the next ten relevant conversations, write down questions verbatim. Group duplicates, answer from product facts, and remove vague promotional questions. The free FAQ recipe includes a structure and AI prompt that flag unknown policies instead of inventing them. Start there, then update the page as real questions arrive.
